REBUILDING is RECYCLING
Environmental Responsibility
As a parts rebuilder, EBC is aware of it’s responsibility to the environment. That’s why we are a member of the Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA). Being a part of this association helps us stay connected to the automotive parts rebuilding community. This means that when one of our customers brings in an “antique” component, we can tap our resources to keep your parts out of the garbage and have them working like new again.
Remanufacturing parts is environmentally responsible in a number of different ways:
- Energy Conservation: Automotive and truck parts are kept out of the the resmelting process longer because of remanufacturing. As a result, millions of barrels of oil or comparable forms of energy are saved.
- Raw Material Conservation: Remanufacturing gives a product numerous lives instead of just one, thereby saving on raw materials. Rebuilders annually save millions of tons of natural resources such as iron, aluminum, copper, etc.
- Landfill Space Conserved: Landfills are spared from the dumping of millions of tons of iron, aluminum, copper, etc, because of the monetary value the industry places on parts. This “core charge” ensures parts are returned to be rebuilt.
- Air Pollution Reduced: Once again, keeping parts out of the resmelting process benefits the environment by reducing the air pollution that is generated by resmelting.

REQUEST A QUOTE
With the launch of our new website in early April, not only were we looking to provide an online point of contact for our customers, we were also looking to offer such online tools as; Request A Quote.
Request A Quote is a simple online form that is as easy to use as your… (in this case) EBC’s. Simply fill out the required information, and once you have submitted the form, one of our Parts or Service Technicians will work on the quote for you.
The form is great for someone who is on the go, can’t reach us during business hours, or someone who simply has time to piece together information in order to work within their desired budget.
Our first Request A Quote (for brake hoses) went so smoothly, Ian R. Sandy, a man with a passion for restoring “Old Japanese Bikes” had this to say:
“very helpful and knowledgeable… – I was actually able to talk to the fellow in the shop (Blayne) who would be making the fittings up for me, and on the basis of that discussion I sent them a set of what I needed to have replaced and a couple of days later they called to say they were ready to go!”
After Ian had submitted the RAQ, we needed to gather a little more information from him. Once we told him we could work within his budget, the RAQ resulted with one satisfied Vintage Motorcycle Enthusiast. Check out Ian’s review on his blog!
Since then we have had several other RAQ’s (part searches , brake band relines, clutch rebuilds, etc), which have all produced effective and satisfying results. Submit a form today. It’s free and easy to use!
